Introduction

Managing a business effectively is a skill that can easily be learnt.

An effective management technique is to identify key areas of your business and create an instructional manual for each area. These manuals are a 'living document' which can grow as you  experience different situations. The manuals establish policies and procedures and help take the stress out of the day-to-day running of your business.

At first it can take a while to create the manuals but as you build them, so does the strength and performance of the business.

Key areas where you would create a manual could be:

  • Administration Practices
  • Sales Processes and Policies
  • Production Techniques
  • Staff Recruitment and Development
  • Stock Management

SoEasy has a range of resources to help you get started and many of the policies you establish will utalise SoEasy such as in the Administration Manual. You will want staff to be full fluent in operating the program and so part of the manual could make reference to the requirement of all staff to complete the entry level training and then the advanced section found in this web page.

In the Managers Training we will be examining:

  1. General Reporting
  2. End of Month procedures
  3. Profit and Loss information
  4. Reviewing the Administrators responsibilities
