5. Installing Maintenance Software

Over many years we have been able to observe the performance and reliability of many 1,000's of systems and have established a standard of maintenance that suits most sites.

The software we recommend for maintaining your site is freely available (we suggest participating in their donation scheme)

The software we recommend may have already been installed by the installer so check to see that it has.

If not please install the following products on each of your PCs:

CCleaner	Keep your registry clean and remove unwanted files
SpyBot Search & Destroy	Keep your systems free of spy ware
Ad Aware	Keep your systems free of spy ware

Hint for Network Users: Save these downloaded files to the Server under the directory of SOEASY\OTHER. Then to access the files from any work station simply select START - Run - and type in the mapped SoEasy network drive + OTHER. e.g. S:\OTHER

It is a good idea to make a folder on each desktop called Maintenance and copy the icons into it
