SoEasy’s Point of Sale versions are easy to use and fast at processing customer purchases.

SoEasy POS systems are a full front and back office solution with integrated features such as Cash Book, GST Returns, Profit and Loss reporting, Cash Flow reporting, Budget Manager, Bank Internet Import facility, CRM Database, Products Register, Ordering System, Creditors Management, Stock Control, and basic marketing.

We have a range of Small Business POS systems designed to handle small retail outlets, and an advanced range of Enterprise versions designed to handle more complex operations.

Small Business versions provide users with very powerful, every day accounting functionality. Enterprise versions not only provide the everyday accounting functions, they also provide advanced job handling and marketing functions.

For example, if you operate sales account managers as well as standard POS terminals, you will find the Enterprise Version of SoEasy Accounting's POS will provide the selling tools your reps need to manage call cycles, telemarketing, bulk emailing, newsletters, standard orders and quotations.

There are eight different point of sale systems you can activate, through the POS set up area, with each screen designed to suit a specific industry.

Guided POS A simple POS which guides you through the process of billing a Cash Sale or customer on account transaction. Does not have Touch Screen displays.
Selection POS One main touch screen with the ability to set up 6,900 items within the screen.

Specific POS Features

All POS systems come with the following features

  • Cash sales and customer account transaction processing.
     
  • Automatic stock control.
     
  • Access to all products in the SoEasy products register.
     
  • Automatic security with individual staff log on and recording of who performed a transaction, edited a transaction, modified stock, and received payment.
     
  • Easy till reconciliation/cash-up by using the special 'Receipt Holding File' function where the day's transactions are held before processing to the Cash Book.
     
  • Payment methods including Cash, EFTPOS, Cheque, Direct Credit, plus the ability to set up 5 other payment methods to suit your requirements.
     
  • Split payment.
     
  • Automatic rounding.
     
  • Partial payments option can be set on or off and is useful if you take a deposit on a transaction such as in a repair shop.
     
  • Automatic and manual opening of the cash drawer.
     
  • Thermal receipt printer or A4 printer capabilities.
     
  • Automatically print two or more receipts with the ability to set two different printers. Useful if you want the customer to receive a receipt plus the production department to receive a receipt or Job Card so that they can process an order (such as a fast food outlet).
     
  • Ability to produce one or more Job Cards as well as a receipt.
     
  • Loyalty Card monitoring function with the ability to set a loyalty discount.
     
  • Ability to edit the quantity, price and discount of an item.
    This feature can be switched off for specific staff.
     
  • Barcode production and scanning.
     
  • Daily analysis of sales, staff, stock, and profitability.

How to choose a POS system

Choosing the right POS system is a simple process of identifying which base product you require. The different POS screen layouts are available in all POS versions so you don't need to worry about which screen will suit your requirements.

The base systems available are:

Single User Small Business POS Front and back office operated on one PC.
Multi User Small Business POS A three user network version (add additional stations at any time) where the back office is installed on the administration PC for handling cash book, accounts, stock, and other general duties. Two additional stations can be set up to handle POS operations.
Single User Enterprise POS Front and back office operated on one PC with the additional functionality of the Enterprise Version.
Multi User Enterprise POS A three user network version (add additional stations at any time) where the back office is installed on the administration PC for handling cash book, accounts, stock, and other general duties. Two additional stations can be set up to handle POS operations. All stations have access to the Enterprise Version functions.
